We are looking to add a Senior Project Controls Professional to our team. The ideal candidate will report to our Phoenix, Arizona or Portland, Oregon office. You will provide client management; interface, update, and make presentations to all levels of management; partner with Project Managers to ensure complete awareness of project cost, risks and provide alternative strategies for mitigation and opportunities. Responsibilities will includePerform the controls for the Program and all associated projects and manage the overall program cost controls and reporting functionInterface with other project team members, including Engineering, Construction, Procurement, Office planning, IT, Accounting, Economics and Finance, Tax, Contracts and Legal, to facilitate compliance with execution strategy and objectives with cost efficiencyProvide status reports and related project reporting analyses to company and client managementIdentify problems and coordinate with the project team to correct and ensure work is being coordinated between the other departments and offices to meet project cost requirementsPrepare various project cost controls plans and reports, financial summaries, and related activities for project management on assigned projectsManage work processes, and procedures for cost managementEvaluate projects at each stage of development to ensure cost and financial activities of the project team inclusive of ensuring client/contractual obligations have been metReview contract drafts and related terms & conditions to ensure they meet project cost controls requirements and coordinate Bring your curiosity, talent for multi-tasking and collaboration, and extreme organizational skills and we’ll help you grow, pursue and fulfill what drives you – so we can make big impacts on the world, together. Here's what you'll needBachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, business or related field At least 10 years of related cost controls experience Experience working on various projects to include coordinating and executing project issues Specific experience in cost engineering functions, including cost estimating, cost control, change management and cost analysis Experience in project controls, commercial operations, with emphasis on project controls and financial issues Ideally, you’ll also have Program related experience Skills with Excel Macro level, Databases (MSAccess), Power BI and dashboard developmentExperience with Primavera 6 resources loading#afelectronicsOur health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about.
