The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various saws and cutting equipment to ensure the efficient production of high-quality materials. We expect applicants to be committed, neat, hardworking, and able to put others first. This position will enable those with enthusiasm and a high work ethic the opportunity to join a stable, growing company and build a long-term career.\nPay is hourly and paid on a weekly basis. Starting wage is based on production but averages between $16-$18 per hour, with the opportunity for continued advancement opportunities through merit and performance-based increases. Benefits include Highmark® Health insurance with company contribution, 401K with 3.5% company match, Dental and Vision insurance, company paid basic term life insurance, paid holidays, and paid vacation.\nThe position is fast-paced and requires a desire to continually excel and grow. Applicants must be in good physical condition, able to bend, twist and lift moderately heavy objects. Applicants should be committed to complying with safety rules and guidelines and production quality expectations, and able to work well both alone and on a team. Some mechanical skills are required but can be learned on the job.\nResponsibilities\nOperate saws and cutting equipment with precision to fabricate materials according to specifications.\nConduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of saws to ensure optimal performance.\nUtilize hand tools and tooling effectively to assist in the fabrication process.\nAdhere to safety protocols while operating machinery.\nAssist in the preparation of loads for shipment.\nMaintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are stored properly after use.\nExperience\nExperience as a Saw Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment is preferred.\nFamiliarity with hand tools is preferred.\nStrong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot issues related to the operation of the saws is preferred.\nExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.\nInterested applicants can send resumes to taylor.lewis@yoderpallets.com or stop by in person to drop off a resume or pick up an application.\nYoder Pallet Company – 304-496-9602, 479 OBrien Rd.
