Vice President of Financial Services
Reporting to the President/CEO, the Vice President plans for, directs and coordinates the lending, new account, deposit, cards and collection functions of the credit union. This position will also be the primary member contact for all real estate, home equity loans and IRA accounts for the credit union. The successful candidate will demonstrate a working knowledge and understanding of credit union procedures, products and services and work as part of a team to accomplish goals of the departments and credit union.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Meeting with credit union members, gather, review and evaluate information on mortgage loan documents to determine if buyer, property and loan conditions meet credit union and government standards. Approve or reject loan applications or request additional information. Establish terms and conditions of an approved loan and review with members.
Establish procedures to ensure the department runs smoothly and works together as a cohesive unit providing first class service to both internal and external members.
Originate and evaluate loans according to credit union and secondary market rules and regulations.
Oversee the card services department and have general knowledge of all card services operations and regulations.
Oversee the financial services department and be knowledgeable of all consumer loan regulations and account operations particularly with IRA accounts.
Oversee the collection department with knowledge of collection laws, rules and regulations.
Review and revise current department procedures, streamlining and simplifying as needed and as necessary.
Hire, train, develop and evaluate staff, making sure they are fully trained in all areas of their jobs and duties.

Pay: $67,000.00 - $83,750.00 per year
