We are seeking an experienced Project Manager for a variety of GIS projects. The position\n\nrequires knowledge of GIS, relational databases, and computer-based technologies within the utility industry.\n\nPosition Requirements\n\n• Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale projects that meet budget, scope, and\nschedule objectives while maintaining profitability\n\n• Technical leadership experience required, with ability to orchestrate project activities and lead high -\nperforming cross functional teams\n\n• Minimum of 3 years of electric or gas experience with GIS (i.e., Esri, Smallworld, Intergraph, etc.) and\nEsri Utility Network. Additional experience with Schneider Electric ArcFM and/or VertiGIS is a plus.\n\n• Utility Domain Knowledge of how asset data is structured and ways integrated solutions interact with\nGIS including OMS, ADMS, DERMs, Work Management, Engineering Analysis, Field Mobility, and\n\nCustomer information Systems\n\n• Minimum 3 years’ IT project management experience with the implementation of IT infrastructure,\nsoftware, data transformation solutions, and strategic consulting projects\n\n• Formal Project Management training is desired. PMI PMP certification and/or CSM is preferred\n• Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality\n• Strong working knowledge of MS Project, Smartsheet, PPM Solutions, Azure Dev Ops, Jira, or other\n\nsimilar project management solutions\n\n• Strong working knowledge of SDLC practices and procedures with experience leading and executing\nprojects to completion using waterfall and agile project delivery methodologies\n\n• A clear understanding of defining a fully sequenced complex project plan, critical path management,\nand project staffing\n\nResponsibilities\n\n• Lead highly technical Utility GIS and Graphic Work Design transformation projects with clients\n• Establish effective, collaborative working relationships with clients, US and offshore team members ,\n\nand leadership\n\n• Communicate weekly project status with clients, senior management, sales, and PMO regarding\nproject scope, budget, schedule, deliverables, quality, and client relationship\n\n• Develop and manage detailed project plans to approved scope/schedule, and tracking; evaluate\nvariances in the project delivery schedule and recommend/implement corrective measures\n\n• Maintain project tracking tools to document project progress and status in accordance with PMO\nguidelines\n\n• Manage project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, actuals, invoicing, and collections to\nachieve increased profitability\n\n• Proactively identify risks and issues and provide mitigation strategy/contingency plans where\nnecessary\n\n• Monitor the productivity of the US and offshore teams to improve delivery timelines and quality\n• Build a unified team environment to encourage team collaboration and knowledge sharing\n• Work with leadership and peers to identify and recommend process improvements/enhancements\n\n(CPI)\n\n• Coordinate project startup, lead workshops, architecture / design, development, and implementation\nactivities (US & Offshore)\n\n• Assist in the development of project methodologies and estimates for proposals, ROMs, POCs, etc.\n• Assist sales in developing and presenting solutions to potential clients\n\nExperience and Education Required\n\n• Experience: Three years of proven successful relevant project management experience in the electric and\ngas utility industry, with preference implementing Esri ArcGIS solutions\n\n• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Computer Science, Business or Engineering preferred\n• Experience: Three years of electric and gas utility and Esri ArcGIS\n\nAdditional Job Details\n\n• Travel: ~ 35%\n• Position and Salary: Commensurate with experience and PMP Certification\n• Work Authorization: US Citizen required\n\nJoin a global network of 3000+ high-caliber people, including an actively expanding North America operation, who\n\ncollaborate and share an enthusiasm for successful project delivery.
