{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"774db1e0de5b6e8fef6c8d0d","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/774db1e0de5b6e8fef6c8d0d","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/774db1e0de5b6e8fef6c8d0d","title":"QA Test Automation Engineer -Remote","description":"QA Test Automation Engineer -Remote\nResponsibilities\nWork with project managers, business analysts, development teams, as well as business customers\nto contribute to the process of gathering and reviewing requirements and ensuring that they are\ntestable.\nParticipate in requirements elicitation and generation\nReview project documents and provide QA comments and sign off\nParticipate in development of the test approach based on established standards and the analysis of\ndesign documentation and requirements\nContribute to the design of the following deliverables: Test Strategy & Test Plan, Detailed Test\nCases, Test Scripts, Traceability Matrix, test estimates, progress reports for test execution, various\ndefect, and statistical data reports, etc.\nAssist or execute manual functional testing where applicable, log and assign defects and keep track\nof the defect status\nWork with developers and support teams to resolve defects and environment issues\nLoad and maintain requirements and test cases in Quality Center and/or other Test/SDLC\nmanagement systems and/or Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) systems e.g. Azure DevOps.\nExecute and track testing process using Azure DevOps.\nAssist with development and execution of automated test scripts\nAcquire and create test data and analyze/verify data.\nParticipate in application troubleshooting and resolving production issues which may include but are not limited to:\nPropose, prepare and execute test scenarios to reproduce production issues in non-\nproduction environments\nResearch problems, and propose, design, execute, and document test cases to identify\npotential issues and to prevent application outages and production issues\nReport test results to management in timely manner\nAssist the support team in activities related to application deployment where applicable\nParticipate in environment maintenance activities when QA services are required\nMaintain up to date documentation and ensure that it is entered into appropriate repositories and\nsystems of record\nSkills Reqd\nAt least 8 years of overall software testing experience\nA minimum of 7 years of QA Automation with experience with programming languages/frameworks\nsuch as Java and Selenium Webdriver\n3+ years of solid hands-on experience with Azure and/or AWS and knowledge of various cloud\nservices\nUnderstanding of API Gateways, proxies, and concepts of securing API endpoints (e.g., rate\nlimiting, API tokens)\nExperience with relational (e.g., PostgreSQL) and no-SQL (e.g., MongoDB) databases.\nExperience with Git, Azure DevOps Pipelines or equivalent CI/CD tools\nHas a high degree of responsibility and can work as an independent contributor to accomplish\nprogram goals\nMust have sound technical writing skills and be able to produce clear documentation\nDesirable Skills\nExperience using Azure services for App Service, Logic Apps, Blob Storage, Data Lake, etc.\nKnowledge of Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services\nExperience with Azure Monitoring services\nExperience with Microfocus Loadrunner\nJob Types: Full-time, Contract\nPay: $65.00 -
