Our providers engage with patients early and our care navigators guide patients through the entire maternal episode of care, offering 24x7 support via our secure virtual platform.\nPosition Overview:\nAn IT Administrator at our healthcare startup ensures secure, reliable, and compliant IT systems that support clinical, operational, and engineering teams. This role is hands-on and critical to day-to-day operations, with responsibility for user support, systems administration, and security best-practice maintenance in a regulated environment.\nWhat You’ll Do\nManage employee devices, accounts, and access (laptops, mobile devices, SaaS tools)\nAdminister identity and access management (SSO, MFA, role-based access)\nSupport onboarding and offboarding while maintaining security and compliance\nMaintain and troubleshoot networks, endpoints, and cloud-based systems\nMonitor system health, patching, and updates\nRespond to IT support requests and resolve issues quickly\nAssist with HIPAA, SOC 2, and security audits\nDocument IT processes, policies, and procedures\nWhat We’re Looking For:\n3+ years of experience in IT administration or systems support\nExperience supporting macOS and Windows environments\nFamiliarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)\nUnderstanding of networking basics (DNS, VPNs, firewalls)\nExperience with endpoint management and MDM tools\nStrong troubleshooting and communication skills\nComfort working in a fast-paced startup environment\nFamiliarity with HIPAA, HITRUST, or SOC 2 controls\nExperience with tools like CrowdStrike, Okta, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Jamf, and Intune\nExposure to security incident response or vulnerability management\nAbout you\nAligned with SimpliFed’s mission.\nHankering to put the relationships back in medicine\nA posture towards execution - a true operator willing to both develop the strategy and execute it.\nAbility to work remotely and communicate asynchronously via slack and email, along with thriving in virtual meetings.\nDoes not suffer in silence: willingness to give it a shot but then reach out for help as needed and not waiting too long.\nLeans into items they are uncomfortable with, not avoid it.\nDefers to safe and secure security protocols always to protect SimpliFed’s patients and providers.\nHigh personal integrity to always do the right thing for the families that we are honored to serve.\nRespect and high tolerance for bureaucracy, along with an optimistic perspective on how to operate within the bureaucratic “rules” and the healthcare regulatory environment.\nAbility to work in a fast paced, team environment.\nHave a valid Drivers License and REAL ID\nApplicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis\n\nBase Salary: $60,000\nSimpliFed is an equal opportunity employer.
