The SE&I Space Team provides engineering, technical analysis and subject matter expertise (SME) for the Global Positioning System (GPS) supporting the Space Systems Command (SSC). Major duties of this position includeDutiesProvide technical expertise and systems integration support to ensure an optimal integrated GPS System designContribute to the overarching approach and processes for integrating, synchronizing, tracking and analyzing dependencies across programmatic and organizational boundariesDevelop engineering and data models and populate them with up-to-date information to enable automated integration analysesProvide technical support for test activities that characterize system performancePerform and present data analysis that drive decisions on government programs Support GPS Enterprise Risk & Opportunities managementQualificationsBachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, physics or equivalent technical discipline and five (5) years of systems integration and systems engineering related or equivalent experience OR Master’s degree in an engineering, mathematics, physics or equivalent technical discipline and three (3) years of systems integration and systems engineering related or equivalent experience. Active Secret Clearance. Experience working across space, ground, and user segment organizations to coordinate and identify system requirements and key performance parameters to ensure end-to-end mission performance requirements are met.Experience with system architecture development.Strong interpersonal skills to enable working, interfacing, and interrelating with diverse personnel and dynamic teamsExcellent analytical and organizational skills, specifically attention to detailStrong written and verbal communication skillsMust be able to work well in multi-team setting, and willing to take on additional technical and administrative tasks/duties as neededDesiredActive TS/SCI Security Clearance Space vehicle as well as other GPS related experience Experience and familiarity working with DoD acquisition organizations Target salary range $160,001 - $200,000.
