Apply via Dice today!Test Lead – Java/Python, AccelQ & AI-Augmented QAJob SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Test Lead with strong expertise in Java/Python automation, AccelQ, and AI-augmented QA practices. The ideal candidate will lead quality engineering initiatives, drive automation strategy, and deliver scalable testing solutions across enterprise applications. This role combines hands-on technical leadership, intelligent test optimization, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure high-quality product releases.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and implement end-to-end test strategies for functional, regression, integration, and system testing.Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Java and/or Python.Build and manage low-code automation suites using AccelQ and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.Leverage AI-powered QA tools for:Automated test case generationIntelligent defect clustering and analysisPredictive analytics for test coverage optimizationAI-assisted exploratory testing insightsLead and mentor QA engineers through code reviews, best practices, and technical guidance.Perform root cause analysis and provide quality metrics/reporting to stakeholders.Integrate automated test suites with GitLab DevOps pipelines.Collaborate with product managers, developers, and business teams to align on quality objectives.Create and maintain test plans, automation reports, and traceability matrices.Required Skills & Qualifications6+ years of experience in software testing and QA automation.Strong hands-on expertise in Java and/or Python.Extensive experience with AccelQ for functional and regression test automation.Experience with AI-based QA tools and intelligent testing solutions.Strong understanding of:AI-driven test generationPredictive defect analysisIntelligent test optimizationAI-assisted exploratory testingExperience with Selenium, REST Assured, PyTest, or similar automation frameworks.Strong expertise in stubbing and mocking test data/services.Solid understanding of Page Object Model (POM) design patterns.Experience with build tools such as Maven or Gradle.Hands-on experience with API testing, UI automation, and BDD frameworks such as Cucumber or Behave.Familiarity with SQL, GitLab, and CI/CD practices.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience working in Agile/Scrum environments.Exposure to AWS cloud platforms and cloud-native testing.ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.Experience with AI-driven DevOps or MLOps testing workflows.What We’re Looking ForStrong leadership and communication skills.Ability to balance hands-on technical execution with team leadership.Passion for quality engineering, automation innovation, and AI-driven testing.A collaborative mindset with a continuous improvement approach.Why Join Us?Opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI-assisted QA initiatives.Collaborative and innovation-focused engineering culture.Exposure to enterprise-scale automation and cloud technologies.Career growth opportunities in quality engineering leadership.
