Construction Manager

In this role, you will be responsible for leading the field execution of power generation construction projects involving generators, turbines, and related infrastructure. The Construction Manager will oversee site activities, manage contractors and subcontractors, and ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project schedules, budgets, and quality standards. This position works closely with engineering, procurement, project management, and operations teams to successfully deliver complex power generation projects.Key ResponsibilitiesLead day-to-day construction activities for power generation projects from mobilization through commissioning and project closeout.Provide on-site leadership and direction to contractors, subcontractors, and field personnel.Ensure construction work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications, company standards, and regulatory requirements.Coordinate construction activities with engineering, procurement, and project management teams to support successful project execution.Monitor project schedules and construction progress, identifying and addressing potential delays or execution challenges.Conduct regular site inspections to verify workmanship, quality standards, and compliance with safety requirements.Facilitate daily coordination meetings, contractor progress reviews, and site planning discussions.Manage field resources, equipment, and labor requirements to support project objectives.Review and validate contractor work progress, productivity, and completion milestones.Support project cost control efforts by monitoring field expenditures, labor productivity, and change management activities.Identify construction risks and develop practical solutions to maintain project schedules and performance.Ensure proper documentation of field activities, safety observations, quality inspections, and project progress.Support startup, commissioning, and turnover activities in coordination with project stakeholders and operations teams.Maintain effective communication with project stakeholders regarding construction progress, safety performance, and key project milestones.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.6+ years of construction management experience within the power generation, industrial, energy, or heavy construction industries.Experience overseeing construction activities involving generators, turbines, balance-of-plant systems, and related power generation infrastructure.Strong field construction management experience with demonstrated success leading contractors and subcontractors on complex projects.Knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, safety programs, quality control, and project execution processes.Experience supporting projects through construction, commissioning, and startup phases preferred.Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing project conditions in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency with construction schedules, project reporting, and field documentation.Willingness to travel and work at project sites as required.We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, along with opportunities for professional development and advancement.InnoActive Group is an equal opportunity organization and will not tolerate discrimination based on age, ethnicity, ancestry, gender, national origin, disability, race, size, religion, sexual orientation, socioeconomic background, or any other status prohibited by applicable law.
