Our core purpose is to enhance people's lives… every day.\r\nOVERVIEW Join our team as a Senior Project Controller! This is a hybrid role based out of our Lenexa, KS office. The position is salaried and includes eligibility for overtime pay.\r\nThe Senior Project Controller will assist Project Managers as requested with project, budget, and planning and scheduling. In addition, the Senior Project Controller will assist the Department Manager in the performance of departmental duties related to project controls, budgeting, planning and scheduling. Project work varies across a multitude of industries, sizes and clients.\r\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES Development and maintenance of Budgets, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Earned Value Reports and all related cost control tools.\r\nDevelop and maintain proposal and project schedules, as requested.\r\nDevelop and maintain Project Plans, project reports, customer reports, etc., as requested.\r\nAssist with the training and development of others with regards to job cost, planning, scheduling and other project related activities.\r\nAssist Project Managers with the coordination and execution of Document Controls on a project.\r\nAssist Project Managers with the coordination and tracking of Purchased Items on a project.\r\nAs assigned by Director of Project Management, manage multi-discipline and large single-discipline projects.\r\nAs assigned by the Department Manager, assist with the training and development of others with regards to job cost, planning, scheduling and other project related activities.\r\nAs assigned by the Department Manager, assist with departmental and organizational Process Improvements; including our Project Operating Processes and Vision Lifecycle Guide.\r\nLocal travel may be required.\r\nQUALIFICATIONS Eight or more years experience in Project Controls or equivalent.\r\nBachelor's degree in business and/or engineering related field preferred.\r\nThorough working knowledge of current Windows environment, primarily Project, Word, Excel, Teams, and Planner.\r\nFive years of experience with the Microsoft Project and/or Primavera software (including three years of planning and development schedules).\r\nThree years of experience in the development and use of cost control tools including EV reporting.\r\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; stoop, kneel, crouch; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk, and hear.\r\nThe employee must frequently lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds.\r\nSpecific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color, vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.\r\nThis employee may perform industrial field work which could include exposure to hazardous locations, inclement weather, moving mechanical parts, noise, ladders, uneven ground, and stairs.\r\nThis employee may perform industrial field work which could include exposure to a wide range of known food allergens.\r\nWHY MATRIX?
