This position works in a production line within a team. Each position on the production line assembles a few pieces of the product and passes it along to the next person for additional adds of parts. Ideal candidate will start learning one position within a specific product line and will continue to learn other positions on multiple product lines within the Assembly Department.\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:\nBasic assembly skills preferred along with a willingness to learn.\nCapable of operating handheld tools and other equipment on a daily basis.\nAble to utilize basic mechanical and electrical tools including but not limited to air-operated hand-held fastener torquing tools, special assembly fixtures, leak-test equipment and quality checking tools.\nAbility to maintain a steady and acceptable assembly pace.\nCapable of communicating, reading and understanding basic instructions using English language.\nMust be able to work with smaller components; good eyesight and hand coordination.\nMust be able to work in a team environment.\nAbility to multitask with a commitment to quality.\nMust be able to sit or stand for an 8-hour shift.\nMust be dependable and have reliable transportation.\nResponsibilities:\nResponsible for the safe, efficient completion of the assembly process in a high quality and repeatable manner.\nAssembly of basic parts following verbal and/or written procedures, placing parts in specific relationship to each other.\nTend to machines to perform force fitting or fastening operations on assembly line.\nMaintain a safe work area.\nWear required PPE to maintain safety and adhere to all safety processes and procedures.\nBenefits & Well-Being\ni2Systems values its Associates, their families, and their overall well-being.
