Company Overview Capstone Land Transfer LLC is a growing, locally owned title company based in Central Pennsylvania. We handle residential and commercial real estate transactions throughout Central Pennsylvania and work directly with real estate agents, buyers, sellers, lenders, and loan officers to deliver accurate, efficient, and professional settlement services. As our transaction volume continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Settlement Officers to join our team. Position Summary The Settlement Officer will manage real estate closings from file opening through final disbursement, ensuring excellent communication with the parties to the transaction. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong client-facing skills and established relationships in the local real estate market. Key Responsibilities · Conduct real estate settlements in Pennsylvania · Review and explain settlement statements and closing documents · Coordinate closely with real estate agents, lenders, loan officers, buyers, and sellers · Disburse settlement funds accurately and in accordance with closing instructions · Work to resolve pre-closing and post-closing issues · Maintain consistent communication with all parties to ensure smooth closings · Handle multiple transactions simultaneously while meeting deadlines Required Qualifications · Minimum two (2) years of experience as a Settlement Officer or Settlement Processor in the title insurance industry · Active Pennsylvania Notary Public license (required) · Strong organizational and multitasking skills · Excellent customer service and professional communication abilities · High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and compliance Compensation & Benefits · Competitive compensation based on experience, including notary fees and commission incentives · Generous compensation for retained book of business, providing strong earning potential · 401(k) Eligible with 3% Matching, 100% Health, Dental & Vision Insurance Paid for by Capstone · Supportive team environment focused on long-term professional relationships Job Type: Full-time Pay: $40,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) matching Dental insurance Flexible schedule Flexible spending account Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Vision insurance Work Location: In person
