🚗 We’re Hiring: Suspension Tunable Engineer📍 Location: [Southfield, MI]👥 Team: Vehicle Dynamics EngineeringAbout the RoleAs a Suspension Tunable Engineer, you will lead the design and delivery of systems that control vehicle roll, pitch, heave, and unsprung suspension mass movement. You’ll work closely with attribute groups and other system owners to guide designs from concept through production, ensuring world-class performance and ride quality.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure component designs meet requirements to deliver the desired vehicle attributes.Drive excellence in system and component-level design with meticulous attention to detail.Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to integrate systems efficiently.Coordinate virtual engineering and physical validation testing activities.Manage multiple complex projects in a demanding environment.QualificationsProven automotive industry experience, focused on springs, stabilizer bars, bushings, and dampers.Hands-on experience in tuning suspension parts to meet primary and secondary ride attributes.Strong knowledge of vehicle dynamics and NVH.Direct experience designing components from concept to production.Background in design release engineering, change management, and project leadership.Prototype assembly experience and practical hands-on skills.Experience with technology, system, and supplier selection.Proficiency in 3D CAD and GD&T tolerances.
