This position will be based out of our Eugene office, with occasional travel to nearby Noti.\n\nAbout the Position\n\nAssist with accounting for the divisions, including financial statement preparations and financial statement analysis, general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, and other analysis as needed\n\nOversee inventory cost accounting (logs & lumber) at all stages of production from purchasing raw materials to shipments of finished product, including monthly and year-end inventory counts\n\nManage fixed asset accounting and reconcile fixed asset accounts\n\nMonthly and year-end close for the division, including preparation of all audit and tax schedules\n\nParticipate in hiring, training, mentoring, and managing office staff\n\nEnsure that appropriate internal control measures are followed\n\nProvide financial analysis as needed for special projects\n\nManage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines\n\nRecognize when and how to be assertive when improvement opportunities arise\n\nWork as a team member with company accounting staff and management\n\nQualifications\n\nBachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or significantly related field\n\n2 years’ progressive work experience in accounting\n\nCPA a plus\n\nPreference given for experience in manufacturing environments, with a focus on inventory/cost accounting\n\nSignificant experience with general ledger functions\n\nPrior experience with Project Cost Accounting preferred\n\nProficient in Microsoft Office Suite of products with significant experience creating and using Excel spreadsheets\n\nStrong analytical skills and ability to resolve problems\n\nProven leadership and communication skills\n\nProfessional demeanor, with ability to work in a team environment\n\nUnderstand appropriate discretion with confidential Company information\n\nWhy Join Our Team?\nBecause this is more than an invitation, it's a commitment to offer opportunities for personal and professional growth to everyone!
