{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"76d905713a512acf5be9f37a","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/76d905713a512acf5be9f37a","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/76d905713a512acf5be9f37a","title":"MRI Technologist","description":"Job Description:\n\nConcentric Methods is seeking an Experience MRI Technologist to support the NIH located in Bethesda, MD.\nResponsibilities:\nExecutes research projects focusing on reproducibility and quality assurance of different pulse sequence and activation paradigms with the assistance of an MRI Physicist.\nPerform regular quality assurance procedures on MRI scanner and instruments\nOperate the control console during scanning, including selecting proper imaging sequence\nProvide clinical expertise to callers remotely, on the NIH IRP staff support line during the COVID 19 pandemic\nOrganizes data into computerized data sets.\nEnter participant patient data at start of scanning and monitor data acquisition during scanning\nPerform post-processing steps to acquired images and data as specified by the study investigators\nCreate, enter, and maintain research data on associated reports and spreadsheets\nEnsure that MR imaging, behavioral and physiological data collected are of the highest quality Collect and archive MRI data\nActs as subject/patient advocate, monitoring comfort and subject cooperation with experimental protocol physiological parameters (pulse rate, respiration, oxygen saturation), and length of time of research exams\nAdhere to safety precautions and procedures that govern the MRI Facility\nAct as a participant advocate for participant safety and comfort\nAdminister oral intravenous contrast material prior to magnetic resonance scans\nMonitor subject patient comfort and subject cooperation with experimental protocol, physiological parameters pulse rate, respiration, 02 saturation and length of time of research exam\nOperates the scanner during both anatomical and functional imaging experiments.\nOperate the MRI scanner doing structural and functional imaging and MR spectroscopy studies, which are part of clinical research studies\nOperate the control console during scanning;
