This includes on premises, private cloud, and data center environments spanning compute, storage, connectivity, and configuration.\nInterSystems Technical Services department is actively integrating artificial intelligence (AI) into our standard operations and strategic initiatives. We are seeking candidates who are passionate about technology, enthusiastic about AI, quick to learn and apply new tools, and excited to help advance practical, high-impact AI adoption across our organization.\nKey responsibilities\nDesign & delivery\nWork closely with IT Management to architect systems and services.\nDesign and implement IaC and CI/CD workflows across IT infrastructure.\nMaintain, monitor and optimize private cloud and data center infrastructure (e.g., Virtualization and Containerization, Servers, Storage, etc.).\nMaintain, monitor and optimize internal and internet-facing applications and services.\nTake a lead role in evaluation and implementation of new technologies to improve reliability, security, and efficiency.\nInfrastructure operations\nProvide Level I Administration and Troubleshooting for on‑premises data center platforms, including servers, storage, network devices, and supporting systems (power/cooling).\nProvide storage administration and support across SAN, NAS, and DAS, including associated storage fabrics.\nSupport Windows, Linux and MacOS server operating systems (administration and troubleshooting).\nMonitor and administer backup platforms; ensure backup health and completion.\nProvide Leadership and Mentoring to junior team members.\nAvailability, monitoring & incident management\nProactively monitor system health and performance; identify and remediate risks before service impact.\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues; document root cause and corrective actions.\nSecurity, compliance & service delivery\nImplement and maintain security controls to protect infrastructure and data.\nComplete operational and compliance checks in line with agreed procedures.\nFulfil service requests within agreed timelines using established request management processes (e.g., ServiceNow).\nCollaboration, vendors & documentation\nPartner with the Network Team on firewalls, switching/routing, and wireless infrastructure support.\nManage relationships with hardware, software, and communications vendors.\nMaintain clear, current technical documentation for infrastructure components.\nLeadership & ways of working\nHelp to define and maintain a collaborative team culture.\nSupport task automation using agreed tooling and scripting aligned with the automation strategy.\nProvide technical assistance to local staff via the ticketing system.\nRequired Experience and Skills:\nExperience: 7+ years supporting complex enterprise ICT environments with multiple stakeholders.\nNetworking knowledge:\nHands-on technical capability as many as possible of:\nMicrosoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID\nLinux administration\nVirtualization Technologies (VMware, Nutanix)\nContainerization Technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)\nStorage administration (e.g., EMC Unity, EverPure)\nScripting: Python, PowerShell, Bash\nAutomation: Ansible, Terraform\nSource control and CICD: Git, Perforce\nEducation and certifications\nRequired: Degree in a technical subject or equivalent professional experience.\nDesirable certifications: Microsoft, RHCE, VMware, Cisco, Palo Alto, ITIL/ITSM, AWS/Cloud.\n\nWe are an equal-opportunity employer and do not discriminate because of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, ancestry, marital status, veteran status, age, disability, sexual orientation or gender identity or expression or any other legally protected category.
