We are seeking a passionate Sales Development Manager to drive our outbound sales strategy and lead a talented team of sales professionals. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record that is consistent in quota attainment, performance, and growth. Candidates should possess the ability to show how they have and can effectively coach new and existing reps, and grow a sales development team. Please note this is a hybrid role, with in‑office expectations 2 days/week in our Larkspur, California office.\n\nWhat you’ll own\n\nDevelop and implement strategies to attract and convert outbound leads into sales opportunities.\n\nOptimize lead qualification and sales conversion rates through effective use of sales tools and technologies.\n\nCollaborate with marketing teams to align outbound sales strategies with marketing campaigns and initiatives.\n\nCoach, mentor, and develop a high‑performing outbound sales team.\n\nSet performance metrics, monitor performance, and provide regular reporting on sales activities, pipeline status, and results.\n\nIdentify trends and insights to optimize sales strategies and improve overall performance.\n\nStay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to adjust strategies accordingly.\n\nWe are looking for people who have\n\n2+ years of sales or sales development experience with SaaS (management or team lead)\n\nMust be efficient in working with a growing tech stack: SFDC, Salesloft, Chilipiper, Gong.io, etc.\n\nSaaS experience prospecting into SMB (inbound and outbound)\n\nHave the ability to get buy‑in from your team of reps of sales org goals\n\nHave demonstrated collaboration, persuasion, and mentorship/coaching skills\n\nGreat attitude and self‑motivation. You act with the team’s best interest in mind, with the ability to productively handle change management.\n\nYou have a proficiency and knowledge of various solution‑selling methodologies and best practices\n\nTake ownership of your work and have strong leadership, coaching, creativity, and analytical skills\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\n\nCompensation\nThis position is compensated at an expected OTE of $140,000–$160,000 per year.
