Deposit Operations Specialist*Position is not eligible for remote work.Job Code: DEPOPERJob Family: Supervisory NoJob Description Title: Deposit Operations Specialist - Maintenance and VerificationJob SummaryThe Deposit Operations Specialist Maintenance and Verification will provide back-office support and oversight to accounts and transactions. This position will perform routine maintenance and verification on deposit accounts and customer records while adhering to established regulatory and bank policies and procedures.Essential Functions, Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Ensures compliance with federal and bank rules and regulations regarding maintenance functions on deposit accounts and customer recordsReviews daily deposits for errors and omissionsProcesses daily maintenance requests in a timely and accurate manner, including transfer and sweep verifications and setupsPerforms account exception tracking, reviews and clears exceptionsReviews reports to confirm accuracy of maintenance and/or inputTroubleshoots issues, including reviewing, tracing, and resolving errors, and escalates as neededResearches and provides assistance to internal and external customers to resolve any questions or issuesProcesses verification of new accounts and provides maintenance to the accounts, including IRAs, CDs, Safe Deposit Boxes, SavingsVerifies and mails statements, notices, letters, interest checksEscalates all issues or concerns regarding verificationsEducation, Experience and QualificationsEducation Required/Preferred Education Level Description Required High School or GED Preferred Bachelors Degree Degree in business, finance, or related field preferredYears of Experience Minimum Comments Three (3) years of experience in banking and/or deposit operations preferredCore CompetenciesCustomer service skillsOral and written communication skillsDetail orientedTime management skills; ability to meet deadlinesAbility to multi-taskProblem solving and judgment skillsAbility to work independently as well as part of a teamAbility to maintain confidential informationWorking ConditionsIndoors, environmentally controlled.
