This position combines advanced software engineering expertise with human-centered design principles to create intuitive, efficient, and accessible user experiences that support operational mission requirements. The successful candidate will lead the design and implementation of modern user interfaces, collaborate with government stakeholders and development teams, and translate complex requirements into effective software solutions. This individual will provide technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, and serve as a key contributor throughout the software development lifecycle.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\nLead the design, development, and implementation of user-centered software applications supporting government mission objectives.\nDesign intuitive, accessible, and effective user interfaces that enhance operational effectiveness and user adoption.\nCollaborate with government stakeholders to gather requirements, understand user workflows, and identify usability improvements.\nDevelop wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and interface designs that align with mission requirements and technical constraints.\nProvide technical leadership and mentorship to software engineers and development teams.\nSupport software architecture, integration, testing, deployment, and maintenance activities.\nPrepare technical documentation, reports, design specifications, and engineering artifacts.\nParticipate in Agile ceremonies, design reviews, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nEnsure solutions meet security, performance, scalability, reliability, and usability requirements.\nThis position is designed to be flexible, with responsibilities evolving to meet business needs and enable individual growth.\n\nRequired Qualifications:\nActive TS/SCI clearance preferred.
