In the case of conflict between the information listed and the official plan documents, the plan documents will always govern.\nJob Summary\nAs a Production Assembler/Sewing Coordinator, you would be responsible for assembling products and components in a manufacturing setting. The primary focus is following specific instructions, working on straight-line sewing, assemble parts and create finished products. This position typically reports to the Production Lead and Office Manager. This position does not have direct reports.\nKey Job Responsibilities:\nFollow assembly instructions, put together various components and create finished products.\nWork on various production assembly processes.\nInspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.\nConduct tests on assembled products to check for functionality and identify any defects.\nHandle and move materials, components, and finished products within the production area.\nOccasionally operate company vehicle to pick up material or drop off product.\nOperate hand tools, power tools, and machinery required for the assembly process.\nRecord production and quality data, such as quantities produced, and any defects identified.\nWork closely with team members, including quality control personnel.\nAdhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.\nIdentify and resolve issues related to the assembly process or product quality.\nStrive to meet production targets while maintaining high-quality standards.\nAssist in the maintenance of the facility.\nOther duties as assigned.\nKey Performance Measurements:\nUnits produced per shift.\nDefect rate or rework percentage.\nMeeting or exceeding safety standards.\nOther KPI’s as assigned.\nRequirements:\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nValid driver’s license and clean driving record.\nPrevious experience in assembly or a related field is preferred but not required.\nSome sewing experience is needed.\nStrong attention to detail to ensure accurate assembly and quality control.\nGood hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for handling small components.\nEffective communication within the team and ability to follow instructions.\nAbility to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.\nAbility to lift and move up to 50 pounds.\nAbility to identify and address issues in the assembly process.\nWillingness to collaborate with team members to achieve production goals.\nThis job description is subject to change at any time.\nPhysical Demands\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
