In PSLD, as within all of Caterpillar, our priority is our customers and helping them build a better world. We touch nearly every element of the services value stream. PSLD is responsible for Aftermarket Parts Distribution of Cat Parts, Integrated Logistics and Global Services supporting Caterpillar dealers and customers. Our teams work together in critical areas that leverage digital capabilities, technology and operational excellence.\n\nAs a Leader EHS, you will be responsible for providing leadership, mentoring and direction to hourly, salaried and management personnel engaged in Environmental, Health, and/or Safety (EHS) activities.\n\nAdditional Information:\n\nThis role is located in Denver, CO and does not offer relocation.\nThis role is 1st shift, Monday – Friday.\nThis role is 100% on-site with no opportunity for hybrid or remote schedules.\nThis role requires up to 10% domestic travel.\n\nWhat You Will Do:\n\nLead all Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security (EHSS) compliance activities, ensuring adherence to company policies and federal, state, and local regulations.\n\nManage regulatory permits and maintain relationships with local, state, and governmental agencies.\n\nDrive facility-wide safety initiatives and foster a strong safety culture across a 150-person, 1+ million sq. ft. operation.\n\nOversee site security programs and manage third-party security providers.\n\nLead incident management activities, including recordable injury tracking, investigations, corrective actions, and communications.\n\nIdentify environmental, health, and safety hazards and implement effective risk mitigation strategies.\n\nEnsure completion of required EHSS training to meet regulatory and business requirements.\n\nConduct audits and assessments to verify compliance with company standards and government regulations.\n\nMonitor EHSS performance metrics, analyze trends, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.\n\nAddress complex environmental and operational challenges associated with the facility's size, age, and location.\n\nWhat You Have (Basic Requirements):\n\nEffective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.\n\nInitiative: Being proactive and committing to action on self-identified job responsibilities and challenges; ability to seek out work and the drive to accomplish goals.\n\nManaging Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.\n\nProblem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.\n\nEnvironmental Health and Safety (EHS) Policy Compliance: Knowledge of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) policies; ability to implement EHS policies to ensure that provided products and services are safe for people and the environment and in compliance with legal requirements and standards.\n\nWhat Will Set You Apart (Top Candidates Will Have):\n\nDemonstrated passion for workplace safety and a track record of driving proactive safety initiatives.\nExperience building strong partnerships with operations teams to identify risks and implement practical EHSS solutions.\nAbility to influence, engage, and motivate employees at all levels to foster a strong safety culture.\nProactive mindset with a willingness to challenge the status quo and introduce innovative ideas for continuous improvement.\nExperience navigating and applying county, city, and state environmental, health, and safety regulations, preferably within the Denver, CO area.\nStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to address complex environmental and safety challenges in large-scale operations.\n\nWhat You Will Get:\n\nThis is Caterpillar – creating and delivering world-class components and solutions superior to the competition.
