Devises creative and effective solutions to complex engineering problems applying engineering principles, methods, and techniques within a broad area of specialty. Performs and/or oversees integrated engineering planning, design, and development. Provides strategic professional leadership, guidance, technical coordination, and review to engineering consultants and support staff on a project basis, as appropriate to the discipline. Performs other functionally related duties as assigned.\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in engineering field preferably mechanical or electrical engineering.\nFive (5) years experience in mechanical and/or electrical engineering discipline.\nCurrent Registered Professional Engineer with State of Ohio Board of Engineers and Surveyors or ability to meet Registered Professional Engineer with State of Ohio Board of Engineers certification within six (6) months of hire.\nValid driver’s license and ability to establish driver eligibility under the University’s Driving and Motor Vehicle Policy.\nAbility to lift ten (10) pounds.
