This role performs cementitious siding installations for new home builds as team member of a field crew, and ensures that all work meets quality, safety, and scheduling expectations. The ideal candidate is proficient in all phases of new construction from layout and framing through exterior finishes.\nCarpenter Service Area\nThe position’s reporting office is in Stuart, FL.\nCarpenter Job Responsibilities\nPerform cementitious siding installation on new residential construction.\nUse advanced carpentry tools, machinery, and layout techniques accurately and efficiently.\nConduct quality checks throughout construction phases to ensure industry-leading standards.\nEffective member of a team.\nMaintain a positive, solutions-oriented work environment.\nCoordinate daily operations with site supervisors and project managers.\nWork closely with other subcontractors to maintain schedule flow.\nReview construction plans, elevation drawings, and engineering details to anticipate issues and prevent delays.\nEnsure materials, tools, and equipment are available and properly staged.\nComply with OSHA and company safety standards at all times.\nConduct routine job-site inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance.\nEnsure proper use and maintenance of tools, scaffolding, and PPE.\nInspect completed work for accuracy, durability, and adherence to plans.\nMaintain records of daily progress and communicate updates to management.\nReport any structural or design inconsistencies and help develop solutions.\nMaintaining positive relationships with customer’s supervisors, installers, suppliers and other subcontractors.\nScheduling material delivery, quality control, punch-out and managing key relationships.\nMust fully understand safety policies and uphold quality and industry standard requirements.\nResponsible for inventory of tools and equipment on installation crew’s truck.\nEnsures security, integrity and confidentiality of data.\nOther duties as assigned by management.\nCarpenter Education and Experience\nMinimum two (2) years of cementitious siding installation..\nMinimum two (2) years of experience in residential construction projects.\nMust possess a valid Florida driver’s license with a clean driving record.\nStrong ability to read blueprints, site plans, and engineering drawings.\nHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.\nMust be able to speak English; bi-lingual with Spanish a plus.\nPrefer experience with multi-home production building, custom home construction, and multi-family construction.\nPrefer OSHA 10 or 30 certification.\nPrefer trade school certificate, apprenticeship completion, or equivalent technical training.\nPrefer experience with house wrap, windows, doors, and decking.\nPrefer experience estimating work.\nProficient with email and telephone skills.\nPrefer MS Office, estimating, project management software experience.\nHighly organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated and able to meet specific deadlines.\nAble to work in a high volume, fast paced environment.\nGood analytical skills, able to make sound decisions utilizing the data at hand.\nAttention to detail and problem-solving skills.\nGood interpersonal skills and a positive attitude that fosters effective relationships.\nStrong organizational and planning skills.\nCarpenter Physical Demands\nMay require heavy lifting up to 75 pounds.\nMay require climbing ladder up to 30 feet.\nMay require exposure to weather and temperature extremes.\nMay require prolonged standing.\nMay require extensive walking over rough terrain and construction zones.\nMay require protective clothing and equipment e.g., hard hat, safety vest, safety glasses, steel-toe boots.\nMay require travel.\nThe above statements are intended to describe the essential responsibilities performed by people assigned to this job.
