This position is responsible for maintaining food quality, following recipes and production sheets, and ensuring safe food handling practices.\r\nResponsibilities:\r\nPrepare and cook meals according to menu specifications and dietary guidelines.\r\nMaintain proper food safety standards, including following HACCP procedures.\r\nEnsure attractive plate presentation and timely service.\r\nMaintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, work areas, and dishes.\r\nReceive, store, and rotate food and supply deliveries.\r\nMonitor kitchen equipment and report maintenance issues.\r\nAssist with kitchen opening and closing duties.\r\nHelp with food prep, dishwashing, and kitchen cleaning as needed.\r\nSupport team members and assist with special events when required.\r\nQualifications\r\nPrevious cooking or kitchen experience preferred but not required.\r\nHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.\r\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and follow written and verbal instructions.\r\nBasic math and problem-solving skills.\r\nAbility to work as part of a team and provide quality service to residents.\r\nMust meet background check requirements.\r\nABOUT US\r\nBethany is a faith-based, mission-driven health care facility located in beautiful Waupaca, Wisconsin.
