Ability to maintain a professional home office without distraction during workday, typically 9-5 (or 8-4) or as defined by the school.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.\nModifies and/or adapts the K12 curriculum in alignment with the state’s content standards to meet the unique needs of each student;\nCollaborates with general education teachers to meet the goals of the targeted students through individualized and small group sessions;\nEducates parents on various instructional strategies;\nEnsures the implementation of the RTI instructional system to increase student achievement;\nOversees data collection and progress monitoring at every tier; Uses data to help teachers plan whole and small group instruction; provides guidance to teachers on identifying and grouping students who need additional help;\nCollects and maintains all RTI data (lists of eligible students, intervention plans).\nServes as a daily resource to school administrators, school leadership teams, and other stakeholders regarding RTI issues.\nCollaborates with homeroom teachers, advisors, counselors, and additional district personnel to coordinate and track Tier 2 interventions.\nProvides ongoing training and support to school/district staff regarding RTI and the implementation of the RTI and data collection procedures.\nSupports teachers in documenting student progress;\nWorks with the special education team to facilitate eligibility for special education;\nAbility to travel up to 20% of the time for face-to-face professional development, student testing, and/or as required by the school.\nREQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:\nBachelor's degree AND\nActive state teaching license AND\nAbility to clear required background check\nOTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nAbility to work collaboratively with other teachers to interpret and produce numeric, tabular, and graphic representations of student data, and use it to drive instructional decisions.\nReceptive to receiving coaching regularly with administrators and teacher trainers.\nAbility to embrace change and adapt to ensure excellent student outcomes.\nProficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint.\nAbility to rapidly learn and adapt to new technologies and teaching platforms.\nAbility to maintain teacher certification/professional development hours and fluency in K12 systems, programs and curriculum.\nDESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nExperience working with proposed age group.\nExperience supporting adults and children in the use of technology.\nExperience teaching in an online (virtual) and/or in a brick-and-mortar environment.\nExperience with online learning platforms.\nCompensation & Benefits: Stride, Inc. considers a person’s education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the position’s work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value when determining a new employee’s salary level.
