Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).\n\nKey Responsibilities:\nDesign, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade software solutions using Java and Spring Boot.\nBuild RESTful APIs and microservices that automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, lifecycle management, and operational workflows.\nDevelop platform automation capabilities for compute, storage, networking, virtualization, and HCI services.\nEngineer infrastructure-as-code and API-driven automation frameworks that enable standardized platform deployments.\nIntegrate automation solutions into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery and infrastructure lifecycle management.\nCollaborate with infrastructure architects, virtualization engineers, and cloud platform teams to define automation requirements and implementation patterns.\nLeverage AI-assisted development tools, including GitHub Copilot, to accelerate software delivery while maintaining engineering quality and governance standards.\nKey Requirements and Technology Experience:\n5+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong emphasis on backend or platform engineering.\nExpert-level proficiency in Java and modern software engineering practices.\nHands-on experience building RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.\nDemonstrated experience developing automation solutions for infrastructure, private cloud, virtualization, storage, networking, or platform engineering environments.\nStrong understanding of infrastructure-as-code and API-driven automation principles.\nProficiency with Linux operating systems and scripting languages for automation and troubleshooting.\nExperience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.\nOur client is a leading Financial Industry, and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
