This role works closely with production, quality, engineering, and supply chain teams to analyze current processes, implement improvements, and support new product introductions.\nThe Process Engineer evaluates production data, identifies opportunities for process improvements, and implements solutions that enhance operational performance. This position plays a key role in continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring consistent manufacturing performance.\nKey Responsibilities:\nProcess Development & Optimization\nAnalyze existing manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, quality, and cost with an emphasis on CCA and Box Build processes.\nDesign, develop, and implement process improvements to optimize production performance.\nEstablish and maintain process documentation including work instructions, process flows, and standard operating procedures.\nSupport troubleshooting of production issues and implement corrective actions.\nContinuous Improvement\nLead and support continuous improvement initiatives focused on waste reduction, productivity improvement, and cost savings.\nUtilize Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies to improve operational performance.\nConduct root cause analysis for process deviations, quality issues, and equipment inefficiencies.\nProduction Support\nWork closely with production teams to resolve process-related issues.\nMonitor key performance indicators and process metrics to ensure stable manufacturing performance.\nProvide technical support during production ramp-ups or process changes.\nNew Product Introduction (NPI)\nCollaborate with engineering, quality, and operations teams to support new product launches.\nDevelop manufacturing processes for new products and ensure readiness for production.\nAssist with validation activities, including process capability and qualification.\nDocumentation & Compliance\nMaintain accurate process documentation and engineering change records.\nEnsure processes comply with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.\nSupport audits and quality system requirements as needed.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Chemical, or related discipline).\nTypically 3–6 years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment.\nExperience with manufacturing process improvement and troubleshooting.\nFamiliarity with production equipment and manufacturing systems.\nPreferred:\nLean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification\nExperience with process validation and statistical analysis\nExperience supporting new product introductions\nCAD or process simulation experience\nExperience in contract manufacturing with an emphasis on CCA manufacturing\nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to sit for extended periods while working at a computer.\nAbility to stand and walk within a manufacturing environment.\nAbility to occasionally lift and carry items up to 20 pounds.\n-\nThis job description is intended to provide a clear overview of the primary duties and responsibilities for the Process Engineer position.
