We are a true farm-to-table company with an integrated portfolio including food processing and food brands, phosphate mining, fertilizer manufacturing, farming, ranching and cattle production, and other enterprises related to agriculture.\r\nSummary\r\nUnder general supervision, this role is responsible for executing a range of operational tasks critical to agronomic service delivery and facility performance, including:\r\n\r\nPrecision operation of advanced application equipment for the deployment of crop protection and nutrient products\r\nSafe and efficient transportation of agricultural inputs (fertilizers, chemicals) to customer locations in compliance with DOT regulations\r\nRoutine and preventive maintenance of mechanical systems, application machinery, and plant infrastructure\r\nAccurate blending and handling of bulk and packaged fertilizer materials per formulation specifications and safety protocols\r\n\r\nThis position requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to operational safety and agronomic service standards.\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\n\r\nApply agricultural products using modern application machinery and equipment\r\nPerform routine calibrations, maintenance, cleaning, and proper storage of application machinery\r\nLoad and deliver fertilizers and chemicals to customers locations in compliance with safety and transport regulations\r\nReceive, unload, and organize incoming product shipments; maintain accurate warehouse inventory\r\nConduct general maintenance and housekeeping of plant equipment and facilities\r\nSupport miscellaneous operational needs including special projects, attending company-provided training, and providing cross-functional backup as required\r\n\r\nDisclaimer - The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification. They are not intended to be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, and skills required of personnel so classified.\r\nTypical Education\r\nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED)\r\nKey Skills & Relevant Experience\r\n\r\nPrior experience operating floaters, sprayers, or other precision ag equipment strongly preferred.\r\nFamiliarity with basic farm equipment and general agricultural operations\r\nWorking knowledge of local geography, including roads, farms, and field access points is a plus\r\nBasic knowledge in the areas of mechanical, electrical, welding and metal fabrication are a plus\r\nAbility to develop trust with management that moderate to heavy traffic can be negotiated effectively\r\nCapable of assisting with equipment rebuilds and mechanical overhauls\r\nAbility to calibrate a variety of application equipment\r\nAbility to set up and calibrate injection equipment is a plus\r\nAbility to maintain accurate maintenance and service records for equipment\r\n\r\nRequirements\r\n\r\nMust have or be willing to obtain a Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's license (CDL) with endorsement to drive a ten-wheeler and trailer with air brakes on the highway\r\nMust have or be willing to obtain the following Endorsements:\r\nHazmat\r\n\r\nTanker\r\n\r\n\r\nMust have or be willing to obtain a Pesticide Applicator license\r\n\r\nMust be able to lift minimum 50lbs\r\nMust be willing and able to work Ag Industry hours as seasonal needs dictate, which may include: early mornings, late evenings, weekends, holidays\r\n\r\nOther Information\r\nCombination of education, training and/or experience will be considered for this position.\r\n\r\nThis position is not eligible for relocation.\r\n\r\nJob Requisition ID: 25124\r\nTravel Required: None\r\nLocation(s): SGS Retail - Ontario\r\nCountry: United States\r\nThe J.R.
