The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently managing the movement, storage, and distribution of materials within our facility. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations, heavy equipment operation, and safety protocols to ensure smooth and safe logistics processes. Prior warehouse experience, including operating forklifts and other heavy equipment, is highly preferred.\nDuties\nLoad and unload materials using forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment\nPick, pack, and prepare orders accurately utilizing RF scanners and warehouse management systems\nOperate cranes and other mechanical tools to move large or heavy items safely\nAssist with shipping and receiving functions, ensuring proper documentation and inventory control\nMaintain a clean and organized warehouse environment in compliance with OSHA standards\nConduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure safety and proper functioning\nSupport warehouse management in inventory counts and cycle counting activities\nFollow all safety procedures during heavy lifting, materials handling, and equipment operation\nCollaborate with team members to optimize warehouse workflows and improve efficiency\nSkills\nProven experience in warehouse distribution, order picking, shipping & receiving, and materials handling\nAbility to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, cranes, and pallet jacks safely\nMechanical knowledge related to warehouse machinery and safety systems (OSHA compliance)\nFamiliarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners for order picking and inventory control\nStrong knowledge of construction or industrial environments is a plus\nExperience in warehouse supervision or management roles is advantageous\nAbility to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently for extended periods\nExcellent organizational skills with attention to detail in order accuracy and safety procedures\nPhysical stamina to stand for long periods and move throughout large warehouse spaces\nThis position offers an engaging work environment where safety, efficiency, and teamwork are prioritized.
