Applicants must currently be local to Indianapolis and able to interview in-person.\n\nWork Location: Downtown Indianapolis - Hybrid work model - 3 days onsite / 2 days remote\nResponsibilities:\nThe Junior Data Engineer Responsibilities:\nSupport data related projects for the State of Indiana.\nQualifications:\nJunior Data Engineer Qualifications include:\n0–2 years total experience. New graduates are acceptable with strong internship/coop experience\nTop skills include experience with Python, SQL, ETL, and data cleansing\nPython: data & analytics experience (transformations, dataframes, scripting)\nSQL: solid fundamentals\nETL experience (any ETL tool); enterprise ETL experience is a plus (WhereScape preferred)\nFamiliarity with command line/Linux and version control (Git)\nCandidates should be curious, thorough, and comfortable working with imperfect/dirty data\n\nNice-to-Have\n\nExperience with WhereScape or similar enterprise ETL tools..\nHands-on experience cleaning and transforming messy/real-world data sets.\n\nKnowledge Services is committed to working with and providing reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities.
