This role requires strong technical leadership, client-facing experience, and the ability to architect and deploy end-to-end data engineering solutions that drive business value.\nYour role\nDesign, develop, and deploy scalable, high-performance data engineering solutions using the Databricks Lakehouse Platform.\nDefine and implement end-to-end data architectures, including Databricks Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers).\nLead teams of data engineers and developers in the successful delivery of enterprise data modernization initiatives.\nDevelop and optimize complex data pipelines using PySpark, Python, and SQL.\nBuild and deploy Delta Lake solutions in production environments, ensuring data quality, reliability, and performance.\nImplement data sharing and collaboration solutions using Delta Sharing and Databricks Marketplace.\nDesign and manage data governance frameworks utilizing Unity Catalog.Extract, transform, and integrate large volumes of structured and unstructured data from diverse data sources and platforms.\nWork closely with business stakeholders and senior clients to gather requirements, define solutions, and communicate technical recommendations.\nLeverage Databricks AI/BI, Genie, Apps, and Data Visualization capabilities to deliver business insights and self-service analytics.Develop and maintain orchestration workflows using tools such as Apache Airflow.\nImplement and support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices for data engineering projects.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to data architecture, governance, and security standards.\nContribute to data modeling efforts, including conceptual, logical, and physical data models.\nSkills and experience\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.\n6+ years of experience in Data Engineering.\n4+ years of hands-on experience with Databricks, designing and delivering enterprise-scale data engineering solutions.\nProven experience architecting and deploying end-to-end data platforms using Databricks Medallion Architecture.\nExpert-level proficiency in PySpark, Python, and SQL.\nStrong experience implementing and managing Delta Lake in production environments.\nHands-on experience with at least two cloud platforms from:\nMicrosoft Azure\nAmazon Web Services (AWS)\nGoogle Cloud Platform (GCP)\nStrong understanding of database design, data engineering principles, and distributed data processing.\nExperience leading and mentoring teams of data engineers and developers.\nDemonstrated success managing and influencing senior client stakeholders.\n\nThe base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $133,000 - $153,000.\n\nCapgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws.
