This position will require the candidate to work on site and while prior professional Inventory experience is not required, the ideal candidate will have an aptitude and eagerness to learn.\nResponsibilities\nAssist with pulling kits for Work Orders and Subcontract POs\nAssist with Shipping and Receiving (including preparation of documentation, packaging, and coordination with carriers)\nPerform initial Receiving Inspection review to ensure correct documentation is present and complete prior to handoff\nTrack and follow up on items due for Receiving Inspection from Engineering to ensure they are processed on time\nManage stock room organization and cleanliness in accordance with 5S standards.\nMaintain inventory data and perform cycle counts\nEnsure Safety Stock and Kanban stock levels are maintained\nSupport Operations and Administrative staff as needed\nIdentify and report inventory discrepancies, and support root-cause investigations\nQualifications\nBachelor's Degree preferred but not required\nExperience with ERP, especially SAP or SAP B1, preferred but not require\nStrong attention to detail, particularly in reviewing documentation for accuracy and completeness\nHighly self-motivated and proactive\nStrong attention to detail\nMS Office, primarily Excel (experience with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs preferred)\nExcellent communication skills with all levels of the organization\nExcellent organizational and recordkeeping skills, including confidential information\nSelf-starter with great time management skills and very strong attention to detail\nMust be able to meet strict deadlines and manage competing priorities\nMust be a US Person (This position has export control and security-related requirements that mandate attention to the citizenship status of any potential candidate and necessitates that the individual either be a United States Citizen, Permanent Resident of the United States, or lawfully admitted into the United States as a refugee or granted asylum by the United States Government.)\nAbout Blue Marble Communications\nBlue Marble Communications designs and manufactures high-performance RF, free-space optical, and network communications modules and systems for deployment onboard satellites and other space vehicles.
