About the Role:We are looking for an Operations Director to lead the performance and growth of our awesome clinic in Wilmington, NC.This role is responsible for building strong, accountable teams and creating an environment where both clients and staff can succeed. You will work closely with clinical leadership while owning the day-to-day operations that keep the clinic running smoothly and consistently.You will be trusted to take ownership, solve problems as they come up, and follow through on what you commit to. The work is hands-on at times and requires a balance of supporting people, making decisions, and keeping operations moving forward.Success in this role comes from staying engaged, communicating clearly, and continuing to improve both the team and the systems around you.What You Will Own:Own the performance of assigned clinic(s) or region, including operational results, team stability, and overall experience for clients and familiesBuild, lead, and support BCBAs, Behavior Technicians, and support staff to create a team that is consistent, reliable, and growingOversee staffing and scheduling in a way that supports both client access and team sustainabilityPartner with clinical leadership to ensure services are delivered consistently and aligned with treatment plansSupport admissions and onboarding so clients are able to start services without unnecessary delayStay accountable to key performance indicators and take action when something is not workingOversee payroll processes and ensure accuracy in time and attendance practicesMaintain a clinic environment that is organized, safe, and reflects the level of care we expect for clientsBuild relationships in the community to support long-term growth and referral partnershipsLead team conversations that are clear, direct, and grounded in expectationsOperate in alignment with company policies, clinical standards, and regulatory requirementsWhat Success Looks Like:Clinics are staffed in a way that feels stable and sustainableClients are starting services in a timely way and receiving consistent careTeams feel supported, know what is expected, and are improving over timeOperational and financial goals are being met without sacrificing qualityThe clinic environment reflects ownership, organization, and careThis Role Is a Good Fit If You:Take ownership of outcomes and follow through without needing to be chasedCare about your team while still holding clear expectationsStep in to solve problems instead of waiting for directionCommunicate directly and respectfully, even when conversations are difficultStay steady when things change and keep moving forwardQualifications: Required: Minimum of three years of experience in ABA, healthcare operations, or a related fieldDemonstrated leadership experience managing teams, operations, or multiple locationsStrong organizational, leadership, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and drive performance across locationsAbility to communicate professionally with team members, families, and external partnersPreferred: Experience in multi-site operations or clinic-based environmentsWorking knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services and service delivery modelsExperience in admissions, scheduling, or operational growth initiativesExperience with CRM, EHR, or scheduling systems (e.g., HubSpot, CentralReach)Experience managing budgets, forecasting, or financial performanceWork Environment:Work is clinic-basedFrequent interaction with clinical teams, clients, and familiesTravel between locations may be requiredLocation: Wilmington, NCEnvironment: Clinic-basedCompensation and Benefits:Competitive salary with performance-based incentives tied to clinic and regional outcomesPaid Time Off and company-recognized holidaysHealth benefits for eligible employees, with employer contributionOngoing development and growth opportunitiesTechnology and tools provided to support the role
