Specific duties will vary depending on the trade area assigned. In addition to supporting the department, the Trades Helper will also: Clean work areas, sweep, collect trash, assist in demolition activities, and move supplies and equipment. Performs various routine repairs and maintenance tasks as assigned Assists and participates in sanding sheetrock Pulls electric cables Assists in checking and testing meters, relays, heating, and air-conditioning equipment Cleans work areas, tools, and equipment Changes light bulbs and performs related work as needed Transports tools and equipment to and from the storage and work areas Operates simple power tools, such as belt sanders, and electric bills Operates vehicles to pick up and deliver supplies Performs other related duties as assignedAnticipated Hiring Range: $35,600 - $42,700. Salary offers will be determined based on the candidate’s qualifications in relation to the Minimum Hiring Standards.
