As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced Third Shift Supervisor to join our team and further strengthen our position in the market.\nThe Shift Supervisor is responsible for providing leadership in safety, quality, productivity, cost control, and employee engagement in a high-performance manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for supervising and developing production employees at the Owosso, MI facility.\nTypical shift times/days for this role are Sunday nights at 10:00pm through Friday morning. This role will be based at Owosso, MI. No relocation assistance will be provided.\nKey Responsibilities:\nSafety & Compliance\nChampion a comprehensive safety program to prevent injuries and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.\nLead start-up, safety meetings, investigations, and corrective actions for the shift.\nServe as the safety leader and role model for all shift personnel.\nPeople Leadership\nHire, train, coach, and develop shift employees.\nBuild positive employee relations and foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and respect.\nAdminister performance feedback, coaching, and discipline in alignment with company policies.\nSchedule employees to cover staffing needs, including vacations, absences, and overtime.\nOperations & Performance\nLead daily production activities to meet safety, quality, productivity, and cost targets.\nSupervise assigned employees, including training, development, and performance evaluation.\nLead and support continuous improvement initiatives.\nCollaborating with plant leadership to resolve operational issues and improve shift performance.\nQualifications:\nMinimum 5 years of manufacturing experience.\nMinimum 2+ years of experience in production supervision within a manufacturing environment leading or supervising a team.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.\nStrong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent leadership and communication abilities.\nFluency (written and verbal) in Spanish is strongly preferred.\nPreferred Skills\nBachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.
