Strong communication, time management, and strategic planning skills are essential for success in this dynamic position. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Prospect new business through cold calls, warm leads, and collaboration with sales office team to exceed monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales quotas. Grow month over month sales by finding and prioritizing new business opportunities aligned with BU’s operational priorities. Identify and prioritize project opportunities to ensure fastest sales growth possible Develop and nurtures strong customer contacts and positive, proactive relationships ensuring open lines of communication. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with sales channel partners and other colleagues, share information on accounts and competitors Identify key opportunities and projects. Collaborate with BU’s to maximize project pipeline and ensure successful conversion of opportunities Work with third party vendors as needed Provides analysis and implementation of various projects. Performs all duties effectively in the most cost-efficient manner possible. Education and/or Experience Minimum of associates degree in Business Administration Four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Language Skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors. Mathematical Skills Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Reasoning Ability Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
