This position does require at least 25% travel.\r\nCoordination of system maintenance, monitoring and installation of multiple WAN/LAN environments encompassing multiple specializations, platforms and technologies.\r\nAssist with research and implementation of enterprise system-wide network solutions/capabilities/enhancements to support customer business/mission goals and objectives.\r\nTroubleshoot and resolve network media and components.\r\nEvaluate and monitor health and performance of the network including hardware and management software.\r\nDevelop and maintain a road map for capabilities, operations, and technologies.\r\nAssist with development and execution of test plans and supporting documentation of all network configuration upgrades, additions or revisions for customer approval before implementation.\r\nSupport network traffic analysis and bandwidth optimization efforts to ensure attainment of performance and availability objectives.\r\nEvaluate and report on new/emerging network/communication technologies to enhance capacity, performance and reliability of the network.\r\nEvaluate and recommend changes and/or technology upgrades to address performance, standardization and industry best practices\r\nFollows all Customer network security processes and procedures, ensures compliance with all Government policies.\r\nRepresent customer requirements in technical exchanges with other government agencies.\r\nPerform site surveys to new installations and technology refresh.\r\nInstalls, maintains and troubleshoots satellite communications equipment.\r\nDevelop and maintain network architecture diagrams.\r\nYou'll Bring These Qualifications Security Clearance: active TS/SCI\r\n8+ years related technical experience in Network and Transport technologies, tools, and techniques\r\n4+ years' experience with large-scale enterprise/global networks in a high paced diverse environment\r\nUnderstanding and experience with the DoD Architecture Framework and other key DoD network architecture and strategic planning instructions\r\nExperience with Juniper, switches, routers, and firewalls. (MX, EX, SRX devices) Cryptographic devices (KG-175G/X, KG-245A/X)\r\nExperience with Network analysis tools (HP/Microfocus Network Automation and Network Node Manager, Juniper Secure Analytics, Infoblox, Riverbed)\r\nExperience with Juniper firewall/VPN equipment (SRX series)\r\nExperience with supporting IP services to connect to NIPRNET, SIPRNET and JWICS (IPv4, VPN, IPv6, Multicast, QOS, SDN, SNMP, VOIP, VTC, etc)\r\nExperience with OSPF, BGP, MPLS, RSVP/LDP L2/3VPNs, VRFs, IKE/IPSec, GRE tunnels, MTU, FTP, Import/Export policies.\r\nCertifications: IAT II\r\nThese Qualifications Would be Nice to Have Master's degree in Computer Science or related field\r\nJNCIA, JNCIS, JNCIP, CISCO CCNP, CCVP, CCNA or CCDP (or equivalent)\r\nITIL v3 Foundations\r\nISC2 CISSP\r\nCompTIA Security +\r\nWhat's in It for You?
