Lead Node Developer

We are looking for an experienced Lead Node Developer to join our team and drive the design and development of high-quality backend solutions. In this role, you will lead technical initiatives, mentor junior team members, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, cloud-based applications. ResponsibilitiesImplement designs and requirements into high-quality, shippable codeParticipate in sprint planning and estimation, and break down user stories into actionable tasksApply best practices in design, coding, and testing (unit, integration, performance)Conduct peer code reviews and proactively identify and resolve issuesMentor junior developers and collaborate with cross-functional teamsSupport stakeholders with data-related technical issues and infrastructure needs RequirementsStrong hands-on experience with Node.js, Nest.js, and TypeScript for backend developmentProficient in AWS cloud services, including EC2, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, SNS, SQS, and Lambda6+ years of experience designing and developing applications, microservices, and REST APIsSkilled in agile methodologies, Scrum team collaboration, and software quality control processesAbility to analyze legacy applications and define target state design/architectureBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related fieldExcellent communication skills (fluent in English) and attention to detail Nice to haveExperience with Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and databases such as PostgreSQL or DB2 EPAM is a leading global provider of digital platform engineering and development services.
