We are constantly studying and evaluating our benefits and policies to better meet present and future requirements.Position – Sr. Aircraft Cabinet MakerThe Sr. Aircraft Cabinet Maker builds and installs high-end aircraft cabinetry using veneers, laminates, hardwoods, and composite materials to support aircraft interior completions. This role ensures all work is completed efficiently while maintaining the highest quality standards and may assist in training and mentoring other cabinet builders.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesFabricate, assemble, and install aircraft cabinetry and interior componentsRead and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and customer specificationsWork with veneers, laminates, hardwoods, Corian, and composite materialsBuild and install drawers, cabinets, monuments, and interior structuresLayout, route, and install inlays, switches, cup holders, and interior featuresApply adhesives, epoxies, and bonding techniques to materialsFabricate components including hinge blocks, panels, and interior assembliesOperate equipment such as CNC machines, pin routers, and table sawsPrepare and assemble fiberglass panels and cabinetry structuresSupport the training and mentorship of cabinet builders and team membersEnsure compliance with quality standards, safety procedures, and production schedulesMaintain tools, equipment, and a clean and organized work environmentMeet assigned schedules and production targetsRegular and prompt attendanceOther duties as assignedCompetenciesTo perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:Adaptability – Adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands, and adjusts approach as needed.Communication – Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing and keeps team members informed.Dependability – Follows instructions, responds to direction, and maintains consistent attendance and reliability.Initiative – Demonstrates persistence, takes ownership of tasks, and works toward continuous improvement.Teamwork – Works collaboratively, supports team goals, and contributes to a positive team environment.Work Quality – Demonstrates accuracy, attention to detail, and commitment to high-quality craftsmanship.Safety – Follows safety procedures, uses equipment properly, and reports unsafe conditions.Summary of Education, Experience & CertificationHigh School diploma or equivalent required.Minimum four (4) years of aircraft cabinetry experience required.Must be authorized to work in the United States. This position may be subject to ITAR (U.S. Person) requirements.This safety-sensitive position may be subject to DOT/FAA Drug and Alcohol Testing Program, including pre-employment and random testing.Required Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesAbility to read, write, and communicate in EnglishAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentsStrong knowledge of aircraft cabinetry fabrication and installation techniquesExperience using precision woodworking tools and equipmentAbility to work with veneers, laminates, composites, adhesives, and epoxiesAbility to train and mentor junior techniciansStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsAbility to identify and operate the proper tools for assigned tasksAbility to read measuring instruments and perform basic mathematical calculationsAbility to fabricate small components and support final assembly adjustmentsAbility to work in a fast-paced production or completions environmentAbility to lift up to 25 lbs independently / 100 lbs with assistanceAbility to work on ladders, in confined spaces, and in various positions (standing, kneeling, stooping)Ability to work outside of core business hours as required
