Azure Staff Cloud Architect / Systems EngineerInsight Global is hiring for an enterprise clientLocation: Beachwood, OH (Onsite 4 days/week)Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pmAbout the RoleInsight Global is hiring a senior, hands‐on Azure architect/engineer to support an enterprise client that is continuing to expand its Azure cloud environment. As an Azure Cloud Architect, you'll play a key role in designing, building, and operating Azure platforms at scale while partnering closely with DevOps, product, and data teams.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning Azure environments end‐to‐end — from architecture and infrastructure‐as‐code to networking, security, and CI/CD — and who wants to operate at a staff / senior technical level while still remaining hands‐on.What You'll Be DoingDesign, build, and maintain enterprise‐scale Azure environmentsPartner with DevOps and application teams on cloud‐ready application architectureCollaborate with an Enterprise Azure team to align with standards, governance, and operational best practicesImplement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) — primarily using BicepArchitect Azure networking solutions, including Hub & Spoke topologies and Landing ZonesSupport CI/CD pipelines and source control using Azure DevOpsEnsure Azure solutions are secure, scalable, observable, and cost‐effectiveCreate technical documentation, architecture designs, and deployment plansMonitor and improve platform health using tools like Azure Monitor and Grafana (or similar)Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineersStay current on Azure technologies and recommend improvements and optimizationsWhat We're Looking ForRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)7+ years of hands‐on experience designing, implementing, and supporting Azure solutionsStrong experience with Azure Infrastructure as Code; Bicep preferredTerraform, ARM templates, or Azure CLI also acceptableStrong understanding of:Azure networking (VNETs, Hub & Spoke)Security and identity (RBAC, Entra ID / Azure AD)Azure Landing ZonesExperience with Azure DevOps (CI/CD pipelines, source control)Experience supporting scalable applications and/or data platforms in AzureStrong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teamsAbility to work onsite in Beachwood, OH four days per weekNice to HaveAzure certifications (AZ‐204, AZ‐305, or equivalent)Experience with observability tools such as Azure Monitor, Grafana, or other third‐party toolsExperience working in large enterprise or highly standardized cloud environmentsExposure to data or analytics platforms in AzureLogistics or supply chain industry experienceWhy This Role Is a Great OpportunityOpportunity to own and influence Azure architecture decisionsHands‐on work in a large‐scale, enterprise Azure environmentAbility to operate at a staff‐level technical role without losing day‐to‐day engineering workLong‐term growth as the client continues expanding Azure adoption
