Role Description Kennesaw Transportation is seeking an experienced VP of Finance / CFO to lead our financial operations, reporting, forecasting, financing, and accounting functions. This executive role is ideal for a strong financial leader with a background in trucking, logistics, transportation, or another asset-based industry.The VP of Finance / CFO will oversee financial reporting, consolidations, GL accounting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, banking relationships, lender reporting, equipment financing, internal controls, and the accounting team.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, strong financial reporting experience, a solid understanding of GAAP, and the ability to provide clear financial insight to ownership and executive leadership.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required7–10 years of progressive finance/accounting leadership experience preferredTrucking, transportation, logistics, or fleet experience strongly preferredStrong background in financial reporting, consolidations, forecasting, budgeting, and GL accountingExperience with banking, financing, debt reporting, equipment loans, and cash flow managementStrong Excel and financial systems skillsExcellent leadership, communication, and analytical abilitiesCOMPETITIVE SALARY BASED ON EXPERIENCE!
