Our analyzers are mostly used in a variety of laboratories, such environmental laboratories, universities, drinking and wastewater treatment facilities, food industries, pharmaceutical and agriculture.About the RoleWe are looking to add a Technical Support Engineer for our Cincinnati, OH location.ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support via phone and emailCreate support tickets using our CRM database and follow up on open tickets on a timely basisEscalate problems to 2nd tier support when requiredProvide remote assistance for software diagnostics using TeamViewer and other toolsPerform repairs and prepare loaner equipmentAssist our field service engineers with sending parts/tools when requiredFocus is on our combustion analyzers (carbon, nitrogen, sulfur)QualificationsAssociate’s degree in electronics, megatronics, chemistry / chemical engineering or equivalentA Bachelor’s degree in chemistry / chemical engineering is preferredAn electronics degree is acceptable if it is accompanied with chemistry/analytical laboratory experienceRequired SkillsPrevious experience with C/N combustion analyzers is a definite plusMechanically inclined with the ability to troubleshoot and repair instrumentationAffinity towards learning new software programsAbility to provide first line technical customer support via phone and emailReliable and dependable, self-motivated, capable of working unsupervised as part of a teamProfessional appearance and attitudeExcellent verbal and written communication skillsPay range and compensation packageWe offer a challenging and dynamic career within a growing multinational organization, an open and collegial environment working with industry leaders, and a competitive salary with benefits.
