Hussmann interns receive competitive compensation, participate in community stewardship, network with company leadership, and learn about career opportunities available at Hussmann.\nAs a Digital Connectivity Intern in the 2027 Hussmann Summer Internship Program, you will gain experience and insight into the day in the life of an IT Support professional. You will work across the Hussmann StoreConnect team to provide Hardware and Application support.\nResponsibilities Learn about how we provide Linux Support of our StoreConnect systems.\nLearn automation language support through Python, Visual Studio and/or Postman.\nAnalyze our current sites to determine any data flow challenges or opportunities.\nNetwork with senior leaders, associates, and other program interns to learn about our organization.\nTour Hussmann's 1.6 million square foot manufacturing facility, our Global Hub for hosting customers, and the R&D Lab where we test product quality.\nParticipate in community stewardship outreach, career development events, and other team-building offsite events.\nCompete in the annual Ideation & Innovation Challenge.\nIdeation & Innovation Challenge Throughout the twelve-week program, all Hussmann interns will divide into cross-functional teams and compete with one another for the Hussmann Ideation & Innovation Challenge. Working with Hussmann mentors and leaders, you and your team will identify a solution to a provided problem statement. At the end of the summer, you'll present your team's business proposal to a panel of judges, executive leaders, and the organization - and possibly create a roadmap for Hussmann's next great innovation.\nQualifications Currently enrolled in school pursuing a minimum of a bachelor's degree\nMinimum 3.0 GPA\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills.\nAbility to effectively interact with all levels of the organization\nAbility to set priorities, manage multiple projects, and demonstrate strong attention to detail\nHighly motivated and eager to learn\nStrong computer skills\nAbility to relocate, if not local\nThe summer internship will run from the third week of May through the first week of August.
