The candidate should be proficient in utilizing advanced software and testing equipment to evaluate pile performance and provide recommendations for design optimization and construction processes. This role will be based on the selected job posting location.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nConduct comprehensive analyses of pile behavior, including dynamic testing, wave equation, analysis, and signal matching techniques.\nPerform field testing and monitoring of piles using various instrumentation, such as pile driving analyzers, strain gauges, accelerometers, and pile integrity testers.\nInterpret test results and data to assess pile integrity, load bearing capacity, and dynamic response characteristics.\nCollaborate with design teams to optimize pile design and construction methods based on field observations and analytical findings.\nDevelop detailed reports and presentations summarizing findings, recommendations, and conclusions for internal and external stakeholders.\nStay current with industry standards, codes, and best practices related to pile dynamics and foundation engineering.\nProvide technical guidance and support to project teams during construction phases, including troubleshooting and problem-solving related to pile performance issues.\nParticipate in research and development initiatives to enhance methodologies, tools and technologies for assessing pile dynamics.\nRecruit, train and supervise a team, including project managers, engineers, technicians and other support staff.\nOther duties may be assigned\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field, Master’s degree.\nMinimum of 7-10 years of experience in pile dynamics analysis and testing within the civil engineering or construction industry.\nProficiency in utilizing specialized software of pile dynamics analysis.\nStrong understanding of soil mechanics, structural dynamics, and geotechnical engineering principles.\nExperience with various pile types, including driven piles, drilled shafts, micro piles, and helical piles.\nDemonstrated ability to conduct field testing and instrumentation installation on construction sites.\nExcellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful conclusions.\nEffective communication skills, including the ability to convey technical information clearly to diverse audiences.\nValid Florida Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record (in accordance with our Driver’s License and Motor Vehicle Record Check Criteria)\nAbility to pass a background check screening in accordance with Florida’s Jessica Lunsford Act (or equivalent state classification).\nWho We Are:\nUES provides essential engineering services for some of the most prominent and significant projects in the nation.
