CORE is in an exciting phase of program growth and development, and we are seeking a Program Coordinator to support our work.\n\nPosition Overview\n\nThe Program Coordinator will work under the supervision of the Senior Program Manager for School Networks. This role provides coordination, event, communications, and logistical support for our School Networks: Breakthrough Success Community (BTSC), CORE Schools, the CORE Board Community of Practice (CoP) and the Data Collaborative.\n\nThe ideal candidate is passionate about CORE's mission and has event and program coordination experience, along with strong organizational and communication skills. This person is comfortable managing multiple priorities, anticipating next steps, and moving fluidly between independent work and close collaboration with colleagues.\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\n\nThe Program Coordinator’s duties and tasks will include, but are not limited to:\n\nEvent and Meeting Coordination\n\nCoordinate logistics and support for in-person and virtual events, school visits, and other network activities.\nProactively manage event planning including scheduling, registration, participant communications, materials, catering, travel-related coordination, and on-site support as needed.\nProvide on-site support at events and meetings as needed.\nDevelop and maintain event timelines, checklists, and participant lists to keep planning on track.\n\nProgram Support\n\nSupport the Senior Program Manager in coordinating activities, timelines, and deliverables across multiple workstreams.\nTrack tasks, deadlines, and follow-up items and help ensure commitments are completed on time.\nOrganize and maintain shared documents, resources, contact lists, and project files.\nServe as a coordination point between CORE staff, district partners, vendors, and other collaborators to keep work moving across the School Networks portfolio.\nExecute day-to-day tasks and functions within CORE’s CRM system.\nProvide other project coordination and administrative support as needed.\n\nCommunications Support\n\nDraft and send clear, professional participant communications, including invitations, reminders, logistical information, and follow-up messages.\nSupport the preparation and distribution of meeting materials, resources and newsletters.\nEnsure communications and materials are accurate, timely, and well organized.\n\nKey Skills and Dispositions\n\nStrong organizational skills with high attention to detail.\nProven ability to manage multiple deadlines independently and follow through on commitments.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nStrong interpersonal skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.\nSound judgment, with the ability to identify potential problems and take initiative to resolve them proactively and escalate as appropriate.\nQuick learner, comfortable adapting to new technologies.\n\nQualifications\n\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.\nThree years of experience coordinating meetings, events, projects, or programs.\nExperience using a CRM system preferred.\nExperience in education or nonprofit settings is a plus, but not required.\n\nCORE is committed to maximizing the diversity of the organization by working to recruit a team that reflects the diverse student populations it serves.\n\nEqual Opportunity Employment\n\nAs an equal opportunity employer, CORE recruits and hires with a commitment to understand systemic oppression and the lived reality of people with marginalized identities. We will offer a firm and highly competitive starting salary of $31.25 per hour for this position.
