In this role, you'll be responsible for assembling parts and subassemblies, performing quality checks, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. This position requires strong attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work effectively in a team setting.Responsibilities:Assemble components and subassemblies using hand tools or machineryRead and interpret schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructionsPosition and align parts accurately based on measurements or templatesPerform quality control checks to ensure components meet specificationsTroubleshoot and resolve basic assembly issuesMaintain a clean and organized workspace, including tools and equipmentPrepare materials and workstations by reviewing part lists and gathering necessary toolsDocument production progress and complete quality formsFollow all safety procedures, company rules, and guidelinesMonitor inventory levels and report low supplies as neededAssist in multiple assembly areas as needed based on production demandsQualifications:High school diploma, GED, or 1–3 months of related experience preferredAbility to speak, read, and understand EnglishBasic math skills: able to add, subtract, multiply, and divideComfortable using standard hand toolsNo certifications or licenses requiredSkills & Abilities:Excellent attention to detail and accuracyGood dexterity and hand-eye coordinationAbility to work well both independently and as part of a teamCommitment to maintaining safety and quality standardsPhysical Requirements:Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and reach throughout the shiftFrequent use of hands to handle small components and toolsMust be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs regularlyVisual requirements include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perceptionWork Environment:Exposure to moving mechanical parts and equipmentLoud noise levels are typical in the production areaFast-paced and team-oriented environmentNote: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the role.
