The salary range for this opportunity is $100,000-140,000.\nSupervises the maintenance and repairs of buses, other vehicles, and equipment to contract requirements.\nSchedules and administers fleet maintenance and assists in troubleshooting problems with equipment. Communicates availability of vehicles for service with dispatch and other operations personnel.\nIn relation to subordinates, the manager is responsible for hiring, firing, and approving salary increases or decreases; training and employee development; planning and directing the work; and disciplining.\nhandling employee complaints or grievances and performance reviews, while the manager of Maintenance is required to make personnel-related recommendations.\nWorks closely with the general manager and region maintenance management, providing status updates on maintenance and budget requirements. May review financial and budget variances, repair orders, or code and approve account payable documents.\nEnsures compliance on a day-to-day basis with State, Federal, and Company requirements.\nEnsures a safe environment exists and that all maintenance and related activities conform with company policies and regulatory requirements.\nReview repair orders, order parts, and subcontract repair work.\nInitiates and implements projects that improve efficiency and/or reduce operating costs.\nEnsures that maintenance technicians are trained on current operating procedures, are adequately equipped and motivated so that the maintenance program can be accomplished in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner.\nSupervises bus fueling. May arrange services for building and groundskeeping.\nCompletes special projects as assigned.
