You will ensure that the network infrastructure aligns with corporate security policies and standards, protecting against evolving cyber threats. This role involves operating and maintaining key security technologies—such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and other advanced controls—while applying DevOps principles to drive automation, scalability, and resilience.\nYou will collaborate closely with network, infrastructure, application, and cybersecurity teams to support and enhance the IT services.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, implement, and manage network security technologies and services across regions and different infrastructure environments (data centers, offices, edge).\nResearch and recommend industry best practices and emerging technologies in network security.\nOperate and maintain network security appliances (Fortinet, Cisco, Juniper), including upgrades and patching.\nBuild and manage network security infrastructure using DevOps practices and automation tools.\nContribute to the Zero-Ops infrastructure management vision by developing solutions that reduce manual intervention and improve operational efficiency.\nSupport security operations: monitoring, analysis, incident response, and vulnerability management.\nEvaluate security advisories and vulnerabilities, providing timely recommendations and mitigations.\nParticipate in ad-hoc vulnerability assessments and incident response.\nCoordinate with stakeholders across Cybersecurity, Projects, and internal customers.\nDevelop and maintain operational processes and documentation for ongoing support.\nQualifications\nMinimum 3 years of hands-on experience in network security.\nExperience with network security platforms: Cisco ASA (CSM), FTD (FMC), FortiGate (FortiManager), Juniper SRX (Junos Space).\nStrong understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, OSI model, routing/switching, ACLs.\nFamiliarity with security technologies: firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, encryption, authentication, vulnerability management, and incident response.\nTechnical Skills\nDeep knowledge of TCP/IP, Internet technologies, IPS/IDS, firewall virtualization, VPNs, NAT, DNS, etc.\nRelevant certifications (preferred but not required): Cisco (CCNA/CCNP Security), Fortinet (FCA/FCSS/NSE), CISSP, GIAC.\nStrong advantage: experience with GitHub, Terraform, Ansible, Python, REST API, Jenkins, Jinja2, YAML.\nFamiliarity with CI/CD concepts and tools is a plus.\nExperience with AWS and Azure network security services.\nExcellent verbal and written communication in English.\nSelf-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a global virtual team.\nStrong multitasking and prioritization abilities.\nAnalytical mindset and a collaborative team player.\nParticipates in a global ‘follow-the-sun’ on-call support rotation.\nTop 3 skill sets/technologies required for qualification:\nNetwork security firewall\nAutomation\nCloud (AWS & Azure connectivity)\nContact: ruchi.tammara@pantheon-inc.com","company":"Pantheon","rawCompany":"pantheon","city":"Big Spring","state":"TX","isRemote":false,"isActive":false,"createdAt":"2026-07-15T12:28:46.453Z","occupations":[{"code":"15-1244.00","title":"Network and Computer Systems Administrators","slug":"network-and-computer-systems-administrators"},{"code":"15-1299.05","title":"Information Security Engineers","slug":"information-security-engineers"},{"code":"15-1231.00","title":"Computer Network Support Specialists","slug":"computer-network-support-specialists"}],"industries":[{"code":"541512","title":"Computer Systems Design Services","slug":"computer-systems-design-services"},{"code":"541511","title":"Custom Computer Programming Services","slug":"custom-computer-programming-services"},{"code":"541513","title":"Computer Facilities Management Services","slug":"computer-facilities-management-services"}],"jobPosting":{"@context":"https://schema.org","@type":"JobPosting","title":"Network Security DevOps Engineer","description":"Location: Spring, Texas\nJPC – 1062\nJob Description\nAs a Network Security DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, engineering, and managing the enterprise network security posture.
