Prepare and paint surfaces with primer or finished materials, such as paint, lacquer, or other protective material. Touch up as necessary. Assemble towers or other assemblies required during painting operation. Safely use overhead crane and fork lift\n\nSPECIAL SKILLS:\n\nSpray paint equipment operation; knowledge and understanding of various coating materials and their application; use of respirator, read and understand instructions and specifications and MSDS sheet.\n\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:\n\nMust lift 25 pounds – bending, squatting, and standing at least 8 hours per day, upper body strength. Physical exam is required in order to demonstrate the ability to meet the physical requirements of the position including respirator exam\n\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\n\nEnsure surface to be painted is properly prepared. Mix paint at recommended specifications. Spray paint components and assemblies as required by supervisor Assemble towers and other assemblies as required. Disassemble, clean, and re-assemble paint equipment. Equipment Maintenance – change filters and perform proper clean up of paint booth; care and cleaning of respirator. Check paint inventory daily.
