This job requires work to be performed in a semi-enclosed elevated structure. While performing the duties of the job, there may be exposure to any number of elements present in an outdoor environment but with none present to the extent of being disagreeable.\r\nPrimary Responsibility and Duties\r\nEssential Functions\r\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\r\nTechnical Capacity Utilize standard mechanical and electrical instruments including computers.\r\nThoroughness Process associated documentation, including inspection documents and compliance reports.\r\nEnsure accuracy and quality specifications.\r\nContinuous mental and visual attention required.\r\nOrganizational Skills Complete inspection and documentation accurately and efficiently to meet production goals.\r\nPossess effective communication and the ability to follow instructions.\r\nPersonal Effectiveness/Credibility Be impartial and perform all duties in a professional manner.\r\nBe flexible, punctual, and dependable.\r\nBe available to work day, night, weekend, and/or Holiday shifts (as stated on Conditional Offer).\r\nMaintain a clean and safe work area.\r\nProblem Solving/Analysis Ability to work with or without direct supervision in accordance with laws, instructions and techniques.\r\nAll Other Duties as Assigned While it is impossible to list every duty that may be asked of an employee, the employer may ask that an employee do other duties as the business need arises.\r\nPhysical Demands\r\nClimbing stairs.\r\nConstant standing.\r\nConstant repetitive use of both hands for grasping and fine manipulation.\r\nConstant repetitive pushing and pulling of sample tubs (30lbs. - 40lbs.).\r\nFrequent twisting at the neck and waist.\r\nReaching overhead.\r\nOccasionally lifting up to10 lbs.\r\nConcentrated mental and visual attention.\r\nTyping and 10 key.\r\nPosition Type/Expected Hours of Work Full-time seasonal position (hours of work and days vary).\r\nEligible for overtime pay (non-exempt according to the Fair Labor Standards Act).\r\nLength of service is relative to the grape harvest.\r\nRequired Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED required.\r\nA minimum of three months of related agricultural experience.\r\nBasic computer skills.\r\nAbility to read, write and speak English.\r\nIntermediate written communication and mathematical skills.\r\nGeneral safety knowledge.\r\nSubstitute Eligibility Qualifications Completion or Enrollment in 12 semester units may be substituted for 3 months agricultural experience.\r\nA minimum of 3 months seasonal employment may be substituted for 3 months agricultural experience.\r\nThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by an employee assigned to this classification.
